Connect your first platform

Hand the brief to your app's AI, paste back the values, and you are connected.

  1. 1In your ecosystem open Platforms and press Copy to your app's AI.
  2. 2Paste the brief to the AI (or developer) of the app you are connecting. It replies with the values Asembla needs.
  3. 3Choose Add platform and paste those values: API base address, how it signs in, and its webhook signature header.
  4. 4Give the app its private Asembla address and signing secret, shown on the platform page.
  5. 5Ask the app to send its capability map. Its modules and blocks appear under Automatic Mapping.
  6. 6Run the two-way test (next page).

Watch out

The API base address is the root of the app's public API, never a poll or overview address. See Troubleshooting → Wrong base address.
