The username governs access
The username on a message decides where it may go and what it may touch.
Updated 2026-10-15
A message tagged with a username is delivered on that person's behalf. A wire scoped to a username carries only that username's traffic, which keeps one account's data from ever reaching another's.
Watch out
A node must never send another account's username on someone's behalf. Was this helpful? No — ask support
