Asembla

Aliases and node-local handles

Nodes can use their own names for people. Asembla links them back to the one username.

Updated 2026-10-15

A node may refer to a traveller by its own handle, an internal id or an email. Asembla links that to the one Asembla username and remembers it for that node, so replies come back named the way the node expects. A node's own naming never creates a second traveller.

Note

If two travellers answer to the same handle on one node, Asembla routes nothing and says so instead of guessing.
